You can distribute music that was previously released — for example when moving from another distributor or re-issuing an old project. To keep your streaming history and avoid duplicate listings you must tell Kalmori it was released before.
What to enter
- Original release date — the date it first went live anywhere.
- Existing ISRC for each recording — the code used on the original release.
- Existing UPC where you still control it and want the same product identity.
- Matching artist name, title and version spelling.
Why it matters
Platforms match new deliveries to existing recordings using ISRC and metadata. When they match, the recording generally keeps its play counts and playlist placements. Final matching is controlled by each platform and cannot be guaranteed by Kalmori.
