An ISRC (International Standard Recording Code) identifies one specific recording. Every track you distribute needs one.
Kalmori assigns ISRCs for free
Leave the ISRC field blank and Kalmori assigns a valid code when the release is processed. This is the right choice for brand-new recordings.
Enter an existing ISRC when…
- the recording was released before with another distributor, or
- you own your own ISRC range and have already issued a code.
Reusing the original ISRC lets platforms recognise the recording as the same track.
Rules
- One ISRC = one recording. A remix, live version or radio edit needs its own code.
- Never invent a code or reuse one from a different recording to bypass validation.
- Kalmori validates format and checks for conflicts. If a code is already in use for another recording you will be asked to correct it.
