Creating a Release

Open New Release from your dashboard to start the wizard. Every section saves automatically to a draft.

Sections of the wizard

1. General — release title, version, type (single, EP or album), primary artist, genre and secondary genre, language, label/imprint, ℗ and © lines, release date and optional original release date for previously released music.
2. Artwork — cover art upload (and optional Apple Music motion artwork on eligible plans).
3. Tracks — one entry per recording with audio, title, artists, featured artists, remixers, writers/composers, lyricists, publishers, producers, contributors, lyrics, language, explicit flag, ISRC and preview start.
4. Rights & AI — ownership confirmations and AI disclosure.
5. Distribution — stores and territories where applicable, and the distribution information answers.
6. Summary — a full read-through before you submit.

Saving and submitting

• Save Draft keeps the release private to you.
• Submit sends it to Kalmori for review and locks editing while it is under review. If corrections are requested the release is unlocked for you again.
