Release Information

Release-level information describes the product as a whole.

• Title — the official release title. Do not add words like "Official", "New" or "Out Now".
• Version — only when needed: "Deluxe Edition", "Remixes", "Live". Leave blank for the standard version.
• Release type — single, EP or album.
• Primary artist — the main artist credited on the release.
• Genre / secondary genre — pick the closest match; stores use it for placement.
• Language — the primary language of the release metadata and lyrics.

• ℗ line / © line — see the copyright articles.
• Release date — see Release Dates.
• Original release date — required when the music was previously released elsewhere.
• Catalog number — optional; your own internal reference.
