Plan your release early.
Digital stores require time to receive, process, review and publish music. Processing time varies between platforms and is not guaranteed.
Kalmori's recommendation
| Submit before release day | |
|---|---|
| Minimum | At least 2 weeks |
| Recommended | 3–4 weeks whenever possible |
| Albums & larger campaigns | Approximately 4–6 weeks |
Why early submission matters
- Kalmori quality control and compliance review
- Time to correct metadata problems
- Time to correct artwork
- Time to replace problematic audio
- Platform (DSP) processing after delivery
- Pre-save campaigns need the release to be delivered first
- Playlist pitching windows (Spotify pitching requires the release to be delivered in advance)
- Marketing preparation
- Unexpected DSP delays
- Holiday-period processing delays
Approximate DSP processing times after delivery

| Tidal | Streaming | Approximately 2–5 business days |
| Deezer | Streaming | Approximately 2–5 business days |

Different platforms process releases independently. A release appearing on one platform before another does not necessarily indicate a distribution problem.
Important: Store processing times are estimates, not guarantees. Kalmori Music cannot guarantee the exact time a DSP will publish a release after delivery.
