Text on the cover is optional. If you include the artist name or release title:
- Spell it exactly as entered in the release metadata (including capitalisation and punctuation).
- Do not add featured artists on the cover who are not credited in the metadata, or vice-versa.
- Do not show a different version name (e.g. "Deluxe") unless the release metadata says so.
Mismatches between cover text and metadata are a common review return because platforms check them too.
